Who are we ?
Winterly Software is a private compagy that specializes in tooling for developers and specialists. We are an official member of the SAP® PartnerEdge® open ecosystem. We build applications that integrate with the SAP HANA business data platform.
Who is the SQL Profiler intended for ?
The Winterly SQL Profiler is tailored to developers and support team that works on HANA. It offers features that are not available in the platform provided by SAP. It is user friendly and allows non expert people to get things done on this platform.
Why was the SQL Profiler created ?
The SAP HANA platform is quite new compared to older database platform like MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server. Because of this, the tooling provided by SAP is not polished everywhere and is lacking some useful features. In particular, the SAP HANA sqltrace available in HANA Studio and HANA Cockpit is not very useful as it is and even unusable depending on your needs. There are some command line tools from SAP, but it's not very user friendly and for some situation it's not usable. The Winterly SQL Profiler was created because we had a need for it as a developer working with HANA. It is tailored to developers and support team that works on HANA and it offers features that are not available in the platform provided by SAP and that I needed. It is user friendly and allows even non expert people to get things done on this platform.
FAQ
We support SAP HANA 1.0 SPS10 to SAP HANA 2.0 SPS05 which is currently the latest version. We also support SAP HANA Express Edition, which is a version offered for free from SAP with a smaller memory footprint than the standard edition.
The SQL Profiler is licensed per concurrent users. You don’t need to register users or computers. You get a global license that you can use anywhere. Everyone that needs to use the software can use it without hassle. You need internet access to use the software.
The basic subscription does not include support, but you are free to use documentation available on the website and read the change log to read about new features.
This software is delivered as a yearly subscription. You always get access to the latest version at no additional cost. Starting at 999 CAD$ yearly. Contact us for more detailed pricing options.
